If you're not feeling way too Dave-d out from hearing essentially the same songs refried on some half-dozen CDs (studio and live), then you'll want to strike up the (Dave Matthews) Band with this public TV aired special concert, recorded Sept. 11, 1999 in East Rutherford, NJ. The DMB groove their way through 18 tunes, including hits "Crash Into Me," "Too Much," "Stay" and a rousing cover of "All Along the Watchtower," with viewers able to select pristine stereo (my preference) or Dolby 5.1. Listeners will certainly support this DVD of the DMB which offers few frills but plenty of music. Recommended. (R. Pitman)

All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
