A rehash of The Fugitive and Lethal Weapon, Fled pairs an undercover cop (Laurence Fishburne) and a convict (Stephen Baldwin) who must keep an important disk out of the hands of the evil Cuban mafia. Fishburne and Baldwin have some funny moments as the traditional odd couple, but their characters are more benevolent than nuns. Baldwin's Dodge, for example, steals $25 million dollars and gives 80% of it to charity--not likely, even for the nicest of criminals. Director Kevin Hooks stages some decent stunt scenes, but it's nothing we haven't seen a hundred times already. (L. Russo)

This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
