Nickelodeon keeps its finger on the pulse of puberty with this outstanding children's ‘toon reminiscent of the Fat Albert gang of yesteryear. No guns, no super heroes or bad thugs, the characters in this series are real, and chances are kids will recognize the lessons being taught without being hit over the head. With five episodes on the tape, it's not easy picking a favorite, but "Pigeon Man" is a perfectly lovely story about a lonely recluse and his renewed trust in humankind---and pizza.
