Incognito, quite frankly, offers little mystery, but plays as a quick fix to nights without must-see TV. Jason Patric (Sleepers, Speed 2) stars as art forger Harry Donovan, an artist who has the extraordinary talent of painting in every style except his own. When he's asked to create a Rembrandt for $500,000 by a group of greedy businessmen, Harry not only replicates the masterpiece, but also manages to paint himself into a corner: framed for murder, he runs around Europe trying to regain his name as an art forger not a killer. Of course, it could hardly be a thriller without some romance. That's where Irene Jacob (U.S. Marshals) steps in as Patric's leading lady. Incognito is no striking piece of art. Sure, it's watchable, but like the work of its main character, it's simply a cheap copy of classic cat and mouse cliché. Optional. (M. K. Lau)
