Somewhere in Branson, MO, there is a theatre waiting for Jeff Foxworthy: he's folksy as all get out, mines familiar and reassuring material, and (the occasional mild profanity aside), is a comparatively clean comic. This 1998 stand-up concert finds Foxworthy in his element, dispensing his patented "redneck" material, noting the differences between "sophisticated people" and rednecks (one invests in stock portfolios, the other in commemorative plates, etc.) before moving on to considering the differences between children and adults, single and married people, and husbands and wives. Because the humor isn't topical, the material doesn't really seem dated for a four-year-old concert. A good ol' barrel of fun if you're a fan, not quite so much if you're not, this is a strong optional purchase. Aud: P. (K. Lee Benson)
