Judgment

From the producers of Left Behind: The Movie comes this ludicrous new installment of the "Apocalypse Series," which provides still more revelation (if any were necessary) that Bible-thumping and movie-making do not necessarily good bedfellows make. In this sorry mixture of sci-fi and scripture, a motley cast of lightweight or has-been actors--including Corbin Bernsen, Jessica Steen, and Mr. T--are forced to mouth hackneyed lines (e.g., "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" and "God helps those who help themselves") amidst an inept storyline that inexplicably presumes prior knowledge of characters and events. Nominally a courtroom thriller about a woman who is charged with "hatred of humanity" and brought before a highfalutin' tribunal named One Nation Earth of Justice, this waste of celluloid reeks to high heaven.
