If I were ten again, and my parents forced me to see Jungle 2 Jungle, a comedy about a New York stock broker (Tim Allen) whose 13-year-old, Amazon son (Sam Huntington) pays him and the Big Apple a visit, my review on the playground might go something like this: "'There's a really cute boy in it, but they make him wear the dumbest clothes and eat lizard guts and he has a big, ugly pet spider. It's gross even though it looks fake. I liked the Home Improvement guy, but he's way funnier on TV, and the stepmother lady is really phoney. But I got out of doing my chores, so it was cool." Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
