Tabloid television could use a good trashing. But I would rather watch Jerry Springer or Jenny Jones than even one minute of this dispiriting comedy. Talk show host Wally Sparks would seem to be a perfect showcase for Rodney Dangerfield's rude and crude persona. But the witless script literally gets him in the end ("He got me in the touche," he cries when stabbed in his posterior during the film's frantic finale). A film like this is why Rodney doesn't get any respect. Not recommended. (K. Lee Benson)
