Special effects wizardry and a tour-de-force performance by Michael Keaton recommend this farce for our fast-track times, directed by Harold Ramis (Groundhog Day). Keaton stars as Doug Kinney, a harried man with not enough time for his job and his family. He has himself cloned. Doug No. 2 is a testosterone-fueled workaholic. Doug No. 3 is the sensitive, more nurturing type. The clones themselves create Doug No. 4, a copy from a copy who's "not quite as sharp." Andie MacDowell stars as Doug's understandably confused wife. Recommended. (K. Lee Benson)
