These 10 short films by filmmaker Patrick McGuinn (son of the legendary Byrds' founder Roger McGuinn) share one common feature: they're pretty much experimental (and experiential) duds. Three of the shorts--that's nearly one-third for you statisticians--are about eating Twinkies, and one even dates back to when the filmmaker was 11-years-old. Two--Agnes Keedan's Secret Plan (a modern day Hansel & Gretel story) and Terrance Baum: Intergalactic Assassin--are a little bit better than something you or I might do, they're not Bambi Meets Godzilla. Not recommended. Aud: C, P. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
