You may not be able to tell a book by its cover, but you can tell a produced-for-video turkey by its cast: Martin Mull, Lesley Ann Warren, Marla Maples and David Gallagher as a dejected Richie Rich, who pulls a George Bailey by wishing he had never been born. I know how he feels. I wish this movie had never been made. From its brain-dead script to the cheesy special effects, I cannot imagine more dispiriting holiday viewing. Not recommended. Aud: P. (K.
