A Jewish psychiatrist whose relatives were killed at Auschwitz begins treating a neo-Nazi skinhead whose path he accidentally crosses, initiating a series of inflammatory encounters consisting mainly of the maddeningly xenophobic punk spewing his venomous spite at the doctor who seems all too willing to put up with it, apparently due to some psychological reasons of his own. Flashbacks fill in the racist's formative family life but fail to lend much sympathy or understanding for or to the proceedings. Billed as being "in the tradition of American History X," this 1993 work can only dream about being in that later film's league. Not recommended. (T. Rich)
