Whatever the shortcomings present in Rob Minkoff's adaptation of E.B. White's classic children's book about a resourceful mouse adopted by humans (original review, VL-3/00), the DVD extras loaded on to this pristine anamorphic transfer presented in Dolby 5.1 are--like a concession stand favorite--big 'n plenty. Budding animators will love the extensive audio commentaries and visual effects workshop, while kids will enjoy the interactive Stuart's Central Park Adventure game and read-along story. More special features include a "making of" documentary, bloopers, deleted scenes, music videos, and...well...like Stuart rightfully boasts on the 2-screen "Special Features" menu, "there's something for everyone." Definitely recommended. (R. Pitman)
