The Stouffer brothers, aspiring documentarian Marty, aspiring Romeo Mark and dreamer Marshall, leave their small Arkansas town to capture on film America's rarest animals. This is faint praise, but Home Improvement heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas gives his best performance to date as Marshall, who was used by his older brothers as a human guinea pig for their home movie stunts. The teen dream cast (one magazine called Thomas and costars Devon Sawa and Scott Bairstow "your valentine guys") will make this irresistible bait for adolescent audiences. Mild profanities aside, this true story will also play well with families. A strong optional purchase. (K. Lee Benson)
