Employing an astonishing number of different terms to describe the posterior, instructor Christina Bullock presents five targeted routines for toning the backside and surrounding areas, including thighs and abs. Bullock races through an intense series of 10-minute segments including butt lifts, “Cardio Booty Camp,” and high intensity interval training that promises “a total tush transformation.” The lunges, kicks, squats, and twists demonstrated here require strength, stamina, and balance (even Bullock is nearly out of breath by the halfway point of her most vigorous sessions). The moves cover a wide range of motion and are appropriate for those at an advanced level of physical fitness and agility. Although the pace is demanding, Bullock has an engaging sense of humor, and her jokes—including creative monikers for moves like the “Charlie's Angels lunge”—keep it fun. Extras include a “belly blasting” segment designed to “make over your middle.” A strenuous but also entertaining workout, this is highly recommended. Aud: P. (K. Cruver)
