Well-being guru Norris Chumley leads viewers through this interactive DVD promoting physical, mental, and spiritual health, in which viewers can click on any day within a 30-day calendar to find a customized program of exercise, meditation, good nutrition, stretches, and other positive activities designed to produce noted improvements in one's energy, strength, and peace-of-mind. Day one, for example, includes the happy "Wiggle Stretch," some easy yoga, and the song "This Little Light of Mine" (Chumley's project is Christian, though non-denominational and non-evangelical), while Day 20 consists of the yoga move "The Forward Bow," a "prayer walk," deep breathing, and chanting. 30 Days to Spiritual Well-Being often looks amateurish on the production side, but Chumley's on-camera workout partners appear to be ordinary people and some of the rituals, even if you're watching from a chair, are relaxing to hear and see. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
