This new aerobics video features real people who work in the field instead of celebrities. Dr. Bonnie Sorenson offers practical advice for those beginning an exercise program; and Marty Rowe, South Florida's popular aerobics instructor, leads a 70-minute workout that includes a warm-up, low-impact aerobic exercises, a cool-down, strengthening exercises for specific muscles, and, finally, a relaxing stretch. Marty's perky personality and professional attitude are well suited to video. She discusses anatomy, physiology, and the need for self-motivation. She also demonstrates both the right and wrong way to do specific moves. The exercises are easy for a beginner to follow, yet challenging enough for advanced students. State-of-the-art graphics effectively highlight details, and the original music by Thomas L. Nehis is bright and bouncy without being intrusive. Recommended. (Available from: Rowebik, P.O. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
