I live a clam's throw away from Seattle. In our area of the world, a ‘full boat' has nothing to do with poker. It means the ferry is full and I'm spending another hour's wait at the dock, sitting in my car, trying to decide if I should drive around or take a nap. The video box claims the Puget Sound system is the greatest ferry system in the world (no comment), and viewers will see plenty of ferries in this non-narrated water tour which features nice new age music, lovely shots of the beautiful lush green environs and great ‘special effects' (the sun actually looked real). However, watching a video almost completely devoted to Bremertonians and Seattle-ites boarding and unboarding these big tubs is frankly as boring as watching gutter-spouts rust. A much better choice here would be the informative Ferry Boats (VL-11/96). Not a necessary purchase. Aud: P. (N. Plympton)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
