Featuring Ganga White and Tracey Rich, internationally renowned teachers and directors of the White Lotus Foundation, Aerobic Yoga is an excellent workout program which combines the major Hatha Yoga poses with aerobics movement, breathing, and meditation. Good camerawork and a soothing background accompany the duo's workout, which is broken down into series involving standing, sitting, kneeling, and prone poses/exercises. It should be noted that this is a serious program, not for beginners. The instructors don't touch their toes, they stand on their hands. Likewise, they place their feet behind their heads. While not all of the poses and/or exercises are nearly as stringent as those just described, this is definitely not one of those quasi-yoga tapes for wimps. For the true yoga enthusiast, however, this program is a real boon. Highly recommended. Editor's Choice. (Available from: White Lotus Foundation, 2500 San Marcos Pass, Santa Barbara, CA 93105.)
