Host Steve Girman breaks the act of juggling down into simple components--individual routines and strategies to be mastered one at a time--while patiently and cheerfully explaining each step in the inspirationally titled Anyone Can Juggle. His Girman's Law (“when learning to juggle, if something can be broken, it will be broken”) has metaphysical application far beyond the bounds of a "learn to juggle" feature, and extends to the care with which he advises potential jugglers on constructing juggling balls from birdseed, balloons, and duct tape. Throughout, Girman reminds viewers to occasionally freeze and make sure their hands have returned to “proper juggling position,” as he moves smoothly from juggling beanbags to utilizing balls and clubs, all the while demonstrating juggling tricks (and “tricks to do with other jugglers”) in an easy-to-follow fashion. The DVD's "repeating trick loops" feature helps aspiring jugglers to build up their skills through repetition, while the Spanish subtitle option broadens the potential audience. Recommended.
