For a one-man production, Barry A. Dennis's Anyone Can Juggle is not bad. Although the video image itself is kind of washed-out, some of the special effects are rather clever. The box art features a lot of humorous bunk, and the back print claims that juggling has helped Dennis "combat my lifetime struggle with dislexia" (one assumes that he means his lifelong struggle with dyslexia). The act of juggling is broken down into three steps: 1) the throw (which means tossing one object and catching it), 2) playing catch (using two objects), and 3) The Big Step (using three objects; a.k.a. juggling). Following the instruction, the video includes the "music video" Juggling Fool, which is actually pretty good. Low-budget, yes; but also infectious in its charm, Anyone Can Juggle is recommended for libraries without similar fare. By the by, ignore the PP rights price mentioned above, it was obviously concocted by someone who doesn't know dingle about public performance; buy the "home video" version if you're interested. (Available from most distributors.)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
