Art Made Easy: Let's Learn How to Draw

Aimed at beginning art students (ages five to eleven), Let's Learn How to Draw, one of eight titles in the Art Made Easy series, presents the basic elements of drawing, as artist Patricia Robinson emphasizes good eye-hand coordination in transferring what viewers see with their eyes through their fingers and onto the page. After detailing the materials needed to get started, in very specific terms--size of art board and paper, etc.--Robinson demonstrates how to sit, position the art board, hold the pencil, and--once these basics are in place--start drawing. Paced just right for children who are learning to draw, this is definitely recommended.
