Former professional ballet dancer Jody Hoegstedt is the creator of the Balletone franchise and the onscreen host in this low impact, nicely paced workout program designed to condition the body while adding elegant and graceful movements to the standard fitness format. Hoegstedt uses easy-to-follow choreography, standing floor exercises, cool-down stretching poses, and continuous aerobic techniques to challenge viewers to move like dancers as they tone muscle and burn fat in this solid cardio workout. Recommended. [Note: also newly available is Balletone, a more basic workout.] Aud: P. (N. Plympton)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
