A useful tool for baseball players and future umpires as well, Baseball Rules for Idiots simplifies the sometimes complex rules of the game by breaking them down into a series of circles. Each rule within a circle is then explained and demonstrated through live action video and/or animated graphics. The inspiration of American League umpire Nick Bremigan (who died of heart failure in 1989), the system is well presented here, with an even pace that allows the viewer time to digest each explanation, and clear visualizations that make it easy to pick up on the finer points of the game. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
