Every bride wants to be beautiful on her wedding day: from the moment she gets up in the morning until the time she and her new husband sneak away from the reception, camera flashes will be going off in her face--if there's a blemish showing or bags under her eyes, someone is sure to capture the memory for future generations. Given the cost of hiring a good makeup artist, budget-conscious brides-to-be might want to consider doing their own makeup. Bridal Makeup Made Easy presents two styles of makeup: an all-natural, wholesome look for a daytime wedding and a more dramatic face for brides who want to spice it up. While the instruction is very good, billing this as a bridal makeup video is little more than a slick bit of marketing on the part of the series developers, as you'll find the same procedures in almost any other makeup video. Frankly, I was expecting a few more bride-related tips than “you should use waterproof mascara because the bride may cry” or “you can use a little more shimmer than your usual makeup.” Still, consider this a strong optional purchase for those without similar fare.
