"Networking" is a lot more than just an overworked buzz word: it's an effective way of finding employment opportunities and making the most of them. Build a Network for Work and Life widens the definition of networking (to include friends and family, etc.), addresses common concerns of job-seekers ("I feel like I'm using people"), and demonstrates when and how to network effectively. In short, the program takes a lot of the mystery out of networking procedures and describes clear-cut tactics to make networking a success. Particularly useful for first-time job hunters, this would be a good choice for career collections in high schools, colleges and public libraries, especially those without Ten Commandments of Networking (VL-1/95). Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
