Targeted at the 66 million Americans who suffer from some form of heart disease, this exercise-motivational tape, the third in a series from Xenejenex Corporation, features an excellent exercise recovery program as well as encouraging advice from physicians about the benefits of light to moderate exercise for patients who have had heart surgery. Following a brief introduction, the program features three sections: a stretching and self-monitoring program which allows viewers to limber up, and includes a simple measurement for taking one's pulse during exercise; a half-hour intensive series of training exercises designed to work the large muscle groups, which can be performed with or without wrist weights; and a final cool down period with more stretching and breathing techniques. Excellent production qualities, and a sure sense of subject make Cardiac Comeback a top-notch professional exercise program.
