Very well paid doctors give very good advice about what to ask for and what to expect from plastic surgery in this procedural guide that covers rhinoplasty, skin resurfacing, collagen and other injectables, forehead plasty, eyelid surgery, facelifts, midface procedures, facial implants, surgery of the abdomen, liposuction, breast reduction and augmentation, and breast lifts. Each is discussed at length and is followed by an onscreen graphic detailing duration of procedure, anesthesia necessary, incisions/scars, pain level, back to work time, back to exercise time, and of course, fees. The information is timely and clearly presented, and despite the sticker shock at the prices, I found myself being convinced by the soft sell of these experts and former patients (all of whom reported their results in glowing terms--not a negative voice in the bunch.) Maybe I just need a botox injection (only $400-$2500!) to give me a less cynical expression. Highly recommended, especially for those who don't already have Every Woman's and Man's Guide to Affordable Cosmetic Surgery (VL-7/98). Aud: P. (E. Druda)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
