Finding instructional guides to the Internet that will connect with a range of audiences can be a tough order. Something that is lightning-paced is bound to be a hit with Gen 2000 (or whatever we're supposed to call teens and twentysomethings now), but can leave older viewers with sore fingers from hitting the rewind button to catch the steps in the process. Computers Made Easy: Discovering the Internet is a great choice for older viewers or for those who don't want to rush through the subject matter. The basics of Internet use, including using e-mail and becoming familiar with browser functions, are clearly demonstrated with comprehensive explanations. While many kids, techno-nerds, and others who have a short attention span for computer instruction would likely lose interest after the first few minutes, this is highly recommended for novices. Editor's Choice. Other videos in the series include: Windows 98, Word for Windows 97 and Excel for Windows 97. Aud: H, C, P. (C. Block)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
