Chef Harold Alexander is the amiable host of this excellently priced cooking series. In the volume examined, the creative use of whatever's in the fridge makes for "Quick Refrigerator Pizza". As Chef Harold explains, there's no mystery surrounding the making of pizza. Any kind of bread will do, along with a few cheeses, some lunch meats, green peppers, mushrooms, and a can of tomato sauce. For the serious pizza-maker, a recipe and demonstration of the sometimes tricky art of making pizza dough is shown. And the program concludes with several helpful hints for teenagers who might want to throw a pizza party. The picture quality is only fair, but the information is solid, and the price is right. Other volumes in the series include: Basic Egg Dishes, Muffins, Broccoli, Roast Turkey, Poultry Dressings, Simple Sauces, Chicken Saute, Strawberries, and Chocolate Mousse. Recommended.
