Country Inns Of Vermont

Visiting 23 country inns of Vermont, this nicely photographed video combines interview clips with innkeepers and shots of the guest rooms, dining areas, and recreational facilities for each site. Although not a promotional tape, per se, there are no critical comments offered during the overlaid narration, except for the occasional superlative. The fact that the video invites viewers to purchase their own copy and receive a 10% discount card for the inns profiled in the video also suggests no inn exactly suffered the white glove treatment from the filmmakers. Still, as a flat out look-see, Country Inns of Vermont does the job. It also includes a brochure listing addresses, phone numbers, prices, and which credit cards are accepted. For those who don't already have Kel's Video Guide to Vermont's Country Inns/Bed & Breakfasts (reviewed in our January 1991 issue), this would fit the bill.
