Directed at high school and college students, this extremely useful presentation on the perils of owning a credit card spells out in very clear and precise terms how to correctly use (and not abuse) the proverbial plastic. Employing the somewhat clumsy format of a game show, the program poses six questions on the purpose of credit cards, how they work, who should and shouldn't have a credit card, security issues related to credit cards, and debt management. Practical guidelines are included within each of the sections, and the program's central message--use credit wisely--is bolstered by actual stories of students who've treated credit cards as free money and ended up deeply in debt. For its important information, especially geared toward young credit card applicants/holders, this is highly recommended for those libraries without similar fare. Aud: H, C, P. (S. Fisher)
