Accomplished seamstress Bev Dillon is the host and instructor for her third crafts tape (the first two were Knitting From Start to Finish*ing, reviewed in our March 1989 issue, and Tatted Lace From Start to Finish*ing, reviewed in our June 1990 issue). In this program, Dillon explains what items will be necessary to complete the crocheting projects, guides viewers through the terminology, demonstrates various crochet stitches, and then shows viewers how to make a simple scarf, shawl, ripple afghan, crocheted bears, granny squares, string bag, puff stitch hat, cape, bead trimmed bag, hot pad, lace scarf, and more while also teaching applicable techniques. The accompanying booklet has patterns for all of the projects on the tape. A good program with more than enough projects to keep viewers crocheting for months. [Note: all 3 of Dillon's craft tapes are being offered at a series price of $115.] Recommended. (Available from: Delta Productions, P.O. Box 2237, Vashon, WA 98070; (206) 463-3451.)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
