One of four titles in Visual Learning Company's Electricity and Magnetism series, Current Electricity teaches viewers about how electrical current is generated, the path electricity takes to reach our homes, and the ways we use electricity. Concepts and vocabulary covered include: sources of electric energy, potential difference, circuits, Ohm's Law, current direction, and computing electric power, concluding with an on-screen review quiz. A very workmanlike and straightforward explanation of electricity, this will nevertheless be useful in middle school science classes. The other three titles in the series (series price: $299) are: The Nature of Electricity, Magnetism and Electromagnetism and Electronics. Recommended. Aud: J. (R. Reagan)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
