A healthy mind provides the key to a healthy body, actor David Carradine advises as a preface to this workout in which he and three other demonstrators complete a regime designed to relax mind and body through Tai Chi movements. Built around the premise that the mind clears through stretching, breathing, and slow muscle movements, this straightforward workout/exercise program will help viewers banish tension and fatigue and settle the emotions. The movements are relaxing (and some, such as rotating an imaginary ball of energy, look like fun) and, while providing exercise, don't seem overly strenuous. Easy to follow, this video offers a milder alternative for people who want to exercise or meditate but don't feel up to the rigors of yoga. Also available at the same price: David Carradine's Tai Chi for the Body, David Carradine's Shaolin Cardio Box and David Carradine Presents Shaolin Strength Workout. Recommended. Aud: P. (J. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
