Chatterbox Denise Austin introduces this Pilates-based routine aimed at working the "mind, body, and soul" through a combination of traditional yoga poses and standing Pilates moves (and later wall stances) designed to elongate muscles and align the body for better posture and balance. While the combination of the awful canned high octane music (who listens to this stuff?) and Austin's unrelenting patter (as she motivates viewers ad nauseam) is anything but food for the mind or soul, the exercise regimen will, in fact, tone and condition the body. Still, given the innumerable yoga/aerobic instructional programs dedicated to the mind-body connection (that actually do bring a sense of tranquility to the workout), consider this one an optional purchase at best. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
