Well, it turns out that what works for you may not work for me. Here are the facts: the causes of weight gain are genetic, metabolic, lifestyle, age and gender related. Single food diets, liquid meals, fasting, high protein/low carb diets, and appetite suppressants can work temporarily to help lose weight but aren't good for weight maintenance. So what's a body to do? Change your eating habits and exercise more, naturally (in both senses). While there are no startling revelations here, the program offers solid information about why a healthy weight is important and good suggestions for how to get there. And while he stilted presentation and clunky acting by "regular" folks in a gym asking questions of the experts is sort of hokey, I appreciated the honesty of the material. This tape is suitable for public libraries wishing to balance all the Dr. Atkins books on the shelf, as well as high school health classes. Aud: H, P. (E. Druda)
