Based on Dr. Robert M. Branson's book Coping With Difficult People, this informative video introduces viewers to seven different types of difficult behavior, and suggests ways to deal with these problem types. Prefacing the dramatic skits that illustrate the tactics of these "difficult people" with the admission that only 10% of the people one meets fall into one of these categories, the program goes on to examine: hostile/aggressives (further subdivided into Sherman tanks, snipers, and exploders), complainers, clams, super-agreeables, negativists, expert know-it-all's, and indecisive types. As a basic introduction to common behavioral types, this video is both informative and instructive--as simple counter-behaviors, based on understanding the inappropriate behaviors, are offered as a way of coping with these difficult people. Highly recommended. (Available from most distributors.)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
