Boy, am I looking forward to those golden years. Senior citizen discounts, empty nest syndrome--part deux (the grand kids), those luscious retirement and social security benefits finally paying off, listening to oldies but goodies like the Spice Girls and…and, okay, maybe it's not going to get better. So, to help us through those golden years without looking a little tarnished, we need to watch what we eat and stay active; which is easy, according to Dr. Emanuel Cane, a chiropractor for over 47 years. Five out of the ten exercise poses in this exercise program geared specifically for seniors can be performed lying down (I liked that), and the program requires no special equipment (beyond a chair) and--most importantly--no pain. While you don't need to be a Richard Simmons or Jack LaLaine to make a successful senior exercise video, the market is completely glutted with good medically-cautious high-quality workout tapes. This program didn't seem to have the vim and vigor tapes ought to have when encouraging semi-hard bodies to have fun keeping fit. Optional. (N. Plympton)
