In today's fast-paced job market, submitting an effective resume is an absolute must. However, many companies now rely on electronic submissions from job-seekers, and it's often not enough to simply attach your existing hard-copy resume as a file to an e-mail. In this exceptionally practical half-hour video, hosted by author Susan Ireland, viewers receive step-by-step training in how to shape a resume into an attention-getting online submission for e-mailing to prospective employers and recruiters, or posting online to various websites. While the program assumes a basic computer knowledge, each tip demonstrated here is also thoroughly explained. Fast-paced, yet easy to understand and implement, this guide to building effective e-resumes will be a boon to career collections and is highly recommended. Aud: H, C, P. (E. Gieschen)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
