Mixing live action with a trio of cartoon farm animals, Farm Pals takes viewers on a tour of a dairy farm. The writing is somewhat funny and sometimes intentionally over the heads of little viewers, but combining the detail of the milk plant pasteurizing process with the silliness of the milkman (Rip Taylor) and the other characters, the program often seems at cross-purposes. Young kids wouldn't remember or care about whole milk vs. 2% and older kids would get impatient with all the dumb jokes. Udderly confusing. Not a necessary purchase. Aud: I, P. (N. Plympton)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
