So maybe your mom makes you brush your teeth every night, but do you know why? At an animated "Germs of the World" convention, the Head Germ addresses the gathered faithful to warn them about what happens when kids make good hygiene choices ranging from showering with soap to not sharing food or utensils. Each situation is presented with live-action footage of earnest kids washing their hands or happily taking out the trash, while the animated germs react in appropriate horror. Unfortunately, the video and curriculum are pretty basic, with flat animation and a hard-to-understand character voice that detracts from the production. At this steep price, it's a very optional purchase. Aud: K, E, P. (E. Gieschen)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
