Noting that "motion is a key to life," Dr. Robert Pruni explains and demonstrates techniques to increase range of motion and strength by stimulating muscle fiber. After advising viewers on the importance of checking with physicians and using a training partner (although there are also techniques which can be done alone), the program offers testimonials by professional athletes before Pruni begins showing viewers how to work various muscles: hamstrings, quadriceps, triceps, biceps, abductors, adductors, hip, high pec and shoulder, anterior and posterior shoulder, etc. In a particularly interesting segment, Pruni shows how flex building with limited pressure applications can be used for rehabilitation of injuries or to combat loss of strength through aging. Although overlong, this is still a strong, optional purchase for larger sports fitness collections. Aud: C, P. (J. McDaniel)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
