Kim Alexander guides viewers through four silk floral arrangements to use during spring, summer, winter, and fall. After a brief introduction and an overview of necessary tools and flowers, Alexander shows viewers how to place the foam brick into the selected vessel, trim flowers as necessary, and create each arrangement. Clear instruction, lovely arrangements and an attractive price make this a good choice for public libraries. Two other titles are also available from the series: Table Centerpieces and Holiday Centerpieces. A better introduction to the art of floral arrangement, however, can be found in Trinity Video's Flower Arranging (VL-10/88; reviewed as Trinity Floral Design, Part 1: The Basics). Aud: P. (R. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
