You're not too old to exercise! You're not too old to change!" This is the mantra of certified fitness instructor Loura White, and if this stretching session qualifies as working out, I'm with her. Loura leads a group of older women through gentle movements that elongate and tone most of the muscle groups, increase joint flexibility and stabilize bone mass. I particularly liked her practical approach, which offered tips ranging from the best ways of getting in and out of bed to getting up and down off the floor (useful when playing with grandchildren!) Her demonstrations were accompanied by clear instructions that included recommendations for breathing, stance, and isolations. I had a small problem with the camera work, which featured some hand-held shots that veered back and forth with each stretch and turn, but the overall quality was very good, and the exercises unique and appropriate for the audience. Highly recommended. Aud: P. (E. Druda)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
