R. J. Stillman, a former Army officer assigned to General George Smith Patton Jr.'s wartime and post-war staff, observed firsthand the winning techniques that made the general one of the most successful (and controversial) military leaders, and here transfers these principles to everyday life applications. The majority of these 15 principles have been espoused many times before and libraries with extensive holdings in management videos will find little new here. In addition, while it's difficult to criticize a video that is obviously made with a great deal of enthusiasm and intelligence, most viewers will find the pace of this film glacial at best. What sets this title apart from other buzzword Total Quality Management and Management by Objective videos is Stillman's apparent devotion to Patton's techniques and his skilled, if laborious, explanation of them.
