Kaye Good, a professor of speech communication at California State University, is "Granny Good" in this charming program which combines the teaching4 sign language with the celebration of Christmas. Signed and narrated, the tape features the assistance of the puppet Hans Signer, who teaches Granny and her young audience the sign language alphabet. In addition, the group sings and signs "Up on the Housetop" and "Jingle Bells", and Hans tells the story of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas", with beautiful illustrations from artist Laurie L. Stewart. Colorful, informative, and brimful of the holiday spirit, this is an excellent program for hearing-impaired and hearing children both. Highly recommended.
