Although my chances of sporting six-pack abs are about as remote as the odds of the Dixie Chicks headlining a Bush fundraiser, it's nice to know that any wannabe stud muffin with two free hands (since I have a beer in one and a remote in the other, I'm unable to participate) can get in rock hard-body shape with a minimum amount of equipment. In fact, chiseled Men's Fitness cover boy and personal trainer Robert Marting only uses a bench, barbell, and dumbbells on all but one (lat pull) of the 26 exercises and stretches here targeting the shoulders, chest, arms, legs, and abs. Reminding viewers that "better form equals better results," Marting demonstrates the military press, pullovers, biceps curl, barbell squat ("the squat is the king of all exercises for total leg development"), calf raises, etc.--first, in the more common incorrectly performed manner, followed by the proper form for maximum benefits. The DVD also features chapter selections that allow the viewer to immediately jump to any of the exercises. A solid complement to a weight training program, Great Form Equals Great Results is recommended. Aud: P. (R. Pitman)
