Offering great moves with lots of variation, good music, professional cueing, and a decent challenge for the home exerciser who's graduated beyond Kathy Smith and Denise Austin, this routine by Christi Taylor soars. Beginning with an excellent warm-up, the program takes viewers into an extended dance aerobics session, followed by a cool down and stretch, and some abdominal training. Ms. Taylor teaches aerobic instructors for a living, and it shows--her choreography is complicated, original, and intense (you've got to be in shape to make it through this tape!) My only real quibble is that the program could have featured some low intensity alternative moves. Viewers should also be aware that the routine takes up a lot of space--apartment dwellers will be bumping into their couches. Still, this tape fills a niche in the typical library collection, and will please intermediate and advanced exercise lovers. Highly recommended. Two companion videos are also available at the same price: Stepping Zone and Strength, Balance & Flexibility. Aud: P. (E. Druda)
