Although this program is basically a talking heads lecture from former Princeton professor and author Henry Reed, it is notable for two reasons. First, for its unique subject matter-we are not aware of any other dream interpretation videos. And secondly, because it approaches dream interpretation as a creative act, rather than by issuing dogmatic instructions about what this or that must mean. Divided into seven workouts, the video essentially asks people to write down their dreams, and then to work from what they've written-peeling away the layers one by one until the viewer feels comfortable with what the dream may mean. Reed takes one of his own dreams and demonstrates how creative writing and thinking can reveal the inner meaning of the dream. While some of the segments-such as turning your dream into a poem-seem a bit on the flaky side, the overall approach seems sound, and will certainly get interested people started. Recommended. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
